 The Austrian Ballet Company first performed under the direction of Christian Martinu in 1995 in Europe.
In the years since, ABC’s repertory includes the great classic ballets like "Giselle", "Swan Lake", "Don Quixote" and "Les Sylphides".
With the creation of "Yuki Onna - The Snow Woman" and "Urashima Taro - A Fisherman"s Tale" the company produced entertaining evenings, fusioning Western Ballet with Japanese Art.
Special programs for young audiences are another focus. "The Nutcracker", "Moses", "A Midsummer Nights' Dream", "The Magic Flute" and "Madame Butterfly" are examples for our youth oriented programs.
The company is touring Japan, and internationally, in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Brazil, China, the USA and regularly since 2005 in Australia. ＡＢＣ-Tokyo バレエ団の活動暦 オーストリア・バレエ・カンパニー（ＡＢＣ）は1995年ウィーンで発足し、2004年に拠点を日本に移す。「ジゼル」や「眠れる森の美女」などの 古典から、コンテンポラリーまでの幅広いレパートリーを持ち、2005年、愛・地球博 （愛知万博）でのワルツ公演とNHK番組出演、2007年には、リン・チャー ルズの呼びかけに応じダンシング・フォー・エイズ・オーファン、ウィーンツアー、オーストラリア・ツアーなど、国内外で年間５０公演を行う。 「ジャパ ニズム」（「雪女」）などの創作バレエは、各方面から高い評価を得る。オーストリア・バレエ・カンパニー（ＡＢＣ）は古典バレエやコンテンポラリーの作品を上演し、定期的にゲストアーティストを招き、新人の振付家にも新作 を発表する場を与える。 |

We believe in the traditional teaching of ballet basics which prevents injury and creates Classic beauty. 6. | Professional dancers are at any welcome to take classes with us at no charge. 私たちは、専門知識を深め、多様性をもつということの価値を強く信じています。 そういうわけですから、ＡＢＣは、スケジュールが許す限り、ダンサーが他のスクールやカンパニーのレッスンに参加したり、舞台に出たりすることをお勧めします。これまでにも、多様なバレエのアプローチによって成長するのを見てきました。 又、他のスクールやバレエ団に属しているダンサーも、ＡＢＣ−Ｔｏｋｙｏのレッスンを受けてくれたら幸いです。 |
